TEXAS, USA — TxDOT is warning drivers about some traffic alerts beginning the week of Aug. 1.

If you are traveling in the area of any of these alerts, pay attention to your surroundings and watch for lane or road closures, speed limit signs or flaggers.

Crews will be spraying herbicide on Monday and Tuesday along SH 191 and I-20. Another crew will be picking up trash on SH 349, SH 349 south and Tom Craddick Highway.

Ector County

Crews will be working on SH 158 between SH 302 and US 385 from Wednesday to Friday. Drivers should expect lane closures and delays.

The northbound lane of SH 115 will be closed Tuesday through Thursday. Work will begin at FM 181 and go northeast.

Pecos County

Crew will be working on US 385 about 10-15 southeast of Fort Stockton on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lane closures and delays should be expected.

Reeves County

Crews will be working on a crumb rubber seal coat project during the week on I-20, specifically the Salt Draw Bridge west of FM 869. TxDOT asks drivers not to freak out as some trucks might appear to be going the wrong way behind traffic barriers.

Winkler County

Lane closures will be needed Tuesday on northbound SH 18 near the state line for repair work. Drivers should expect delays and follow any pilot cars safely.

Additionally, SH 302 between Standard Ave. and SH 115 will be closed all week.
