MIDLAND, Texas — The City of Midland is warning drivers about a temporary major traffic alert starting January 13.
Southbound lanes are being closed on Midkiff Road near Wadley Avenue, in front of the HEB. This closure will go through the Wadley intersection.
This closure comes after a contractor struck a water main, meaning emergency repairs will need to be made.
While the city is still properly assessing the extent of the damage, they anticipate the closures will run through at least the next week
Drivers should be aware of the closure and seek alternate routes as necessary.
