ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — DPS is investigating a deadly crash that took place Tuesday night.
Investigators say Anthony Multhaupt, 56, was sitting in the westbound lane of 42nd Street three miles outside of Odessa just after 10 p.m.
A GMC Yukon traveling west on 42nd Street then struck Multhaupt.
Multhaupt was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
