MARTIN COUNTY, Texas — A Lubbock man is dead and another is injured following a crash in Martin County.
DPS reports Anthony Luna, 27, and Antonio Perez, Jr., 41, were traveling south on State Highway 349 around 4:40 a.m. on June 23.
Adrian Sanchez, 53, was driving a truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer on a private drive and failed to yield right of way while turning onto SH 349.
The truck collided with the semi, sending both Perez and Luna to Midland Memorial Hospital.
Luna suffered non-incapacitating injuries, while Perez was pronounced dead at the hospital. Sanchez was not injured.
DPS is still investigating the crash and there is no more information available at this time.
