WINKLER COUNTY, Texas — UPDATE: As of 5 p.m. Friday, TxDOT reports that SH 115 is open again.

Car accidents have caused the closure of SH 115, north of Kermit, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
A TxDOT spokesperson said there seems to be no serious injuries.
City police officers are detouring northbound traffic to SH 302 and CR 313.
TxDOT is also diverting southbound traffic down CR 301 until the scene is cleared.
