MIDLAND, Texas — The Cotton Flat Bridge over I-20 is open again after being closed
According to TxDOT, this closure was because an oversized load hit the bridge on April 11 and fled the scene.
The closure will lasted for seven hours to allow TxDOT to evaluate the damage.
Anyone who may have witnessed the strike is asked to let police know.
TxDOT says this specific overpass has been hit five times in the past five years.
