MIDLAND, Texas — The City of Midland is warning drivers about a major traffic alert that will last around four months..
Construction will be starting on June 14 at the intersection of Loop 250 and Midkiff Road.
This project will be working to widen both the east and westbound service roads of Loop 250 to provide extra turn lanes.
The City says the funding for this project is a collaboration between it and the Midland Park Mall.
When the project begins, work will start on the eastbound service road. Drivers should expect lane closures throughout the entire project.
At this time, the city estimated work will be completed by October.
Travelers in the area should stay alert and watch out for workers during the construction.
