HOBBS, NM (KWES) - A Chinese woman is behind bars following an undercover investigation at a Hobbs massage parlor.

Yingkun Li, 53, who is from China, was arrested on charges of prostitution.

Authorities said about one week ago, the Lea County Drug Task Force received several complaints in reference to possible prostitution taking place at the Comfort Spa located at 238 N. Marland in Hobbs.

We're told that agents with the Lea County Drug Task Force with the assistance of Homeland Security Investigations conducted an undercover operation involving solicitation for prostitution.

According to the report, undercover agents were offered sexual acts in exchange for money by Li.

Following a search warrant, Li was placed under arrest and taken to the Hobbs City Jail.

Officers said the investigation into the case is ongoing as they are looking for Shaoping Wen, who is the listed business owner for the massage parlor.

No other charges are expected to be filed against Li, police said.
