ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The Permian Panthers are in the Class 6A Region I tournament for the second consecutive season.

Mojo overcame a rough start in the first quarter against El Paso Americas only scoring 3 points but battled back in the second going on a 19-2 run. Battling from behind hasn’t phased the Panthers all season as climbing back from adversity has been the theme this year.

One thing that continues to impress head coach Tim Thomas is that this team never stops without a fight. The Panthers will take on No. 2 Denton Guyer on Friday at 8 p.m. in Fort Worth.
