WEST TEXAS, TX (KWES) - The United States Geological Survey has reported a 3.1 magnitude earthquake in West Texas.

The earthquake occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Nov. 2.

It was located at 30.948 N and 103.483 W, which is about 9 miles southwest of Cuatro Caminos, 32 miles south of Pecos and 90 miles northeast Odessa.

The depth of the earthquake was about .8 miles.
