Two Fires Reported Overnight in Big Spring

BIG SPRING - Big Spring fire fighters were called out to two unrelated small structure overnight.

The first was on Big Spring's northside at North 2nd and runnels where a storage building, pallets and tires were on fire. Damage was extensive.

No other structures were involved and no one was injured. That fire occurred around 10:00 pm Thursday and the cause of that fire is not yet determined.

Another fire was called in around 3:00 Friday morning at 1700 Owens. The vacant structure was totally engulfed in flames when fire fighters arrived and was a total loss, according to Fire Marshal Carl Condray.
