MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The City of Midland approved three business for sale of alcohol permits on August 14.

The three business each offer different takes on hospitality.

The Tall City Brewing Company is in the process of building a microbrewery on a 1.96 acre lot located at 3303 Golf Course Road.

Besides brewing its own craft beer, the establishment will provide indoor and outdoor seating in a family friendly environment.

The Tall City Brewing Company is looking to open in January.

Coiffures Barber shop and Salon is currently under construction at the Midland Park Mall.

The owner of the business Tim Cuevas, says he's enjoyed a successful run in Odessa and now has his sights on Midland  while incorporating a new twist.

"The atmosphere that we've been able to create here in Odessa has a real fun, upscale vibe. The atmosphere is really crazy, so we thought the only thing missing out of there was maybe adding a bar in there," said Cuevas.

Coiffures Barber shop and Salon aims to be open in November.

The final addition is a new craft cocktail bar to Downtown Midland.

The Buffalo Nickel is opening up where Cigar Frogs used to be.

Owners say they're aiming to provide a classy, upscale bar and lounge.

The Buffalo Nickel is projected to open in October.
