Second Man Accused of Brutal Murder, Stabbing to Make a Plea Deal

MIDLAND - The second accused in a brutal murder and stabbing in Midland County is expected to make a plea deal, just days before going to trial.

Paul Lee is scheduled for a hearing on Friday.

If he accepts the plea deal, he would serve 48 years in prison.

His accomplice, Stephen Whitworth, was found guilty in the murder of Christopher Easley and the stabbing of his girlfriend, Anne Bostic.

Whitworth was sentenced to 20 years last week.
