ANDREWS/SEMINOLE - It looks like some phone service may be slowly returning to Andrews and Seminole after an outage all day.

The phones went down in Andrews on Monday morning.

Residents reported having no land lines or cell phones.

Windstream, which services Andrews, tells NewsWest 9, they had 6,000 customers without phones and the problem was on AT&T's network when a fiber optic line was cut.

Windstream says there customers should now be back up and running.
