MIDLAND - It may not be as earth-shattering as Sir Issac Newton's famous theory, but a new addition has landed at the Midland Best Buy, a new Apple store.
And managers say since the new store opened this past Thursday, they've been flooded with West Texans looking for everything from software, to computers, to everything Apple.
Managers with Best Buy also say for years they've had customers looking for these products, but just haven't been able to sell them in their store.
"Of course, Best Buy here in Midland is very excited about opening the Apple Store, and serving all the folks that like the Apple and the Macintosh's that have even passed occurrences with their Macintosh's and Apples. We've got certified people here to help sell them, and service them," Matt Santiago, a Computer Specialist with Best Buy, said.
Managers say the closest Apple store like the one here in the Basin is at Best Buy is in Lubbock.
