One man is dead and another injured following an accident on State Loop 338, roughly four miles south of Odessa.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Andy Heffner, 22, of Big Piney, Wyo. was traveling west on State Loop 338 with one passenger, Ray Tamez, 38, of Donna, TX.
DPS officials said the accident happened when Heffner left the roadway, overcorrected and rolled the truck.
Heffner was declared dead on scene, and Tamez was transported to Medical Center Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
