MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - There were some strange lights across the Midland sky Tuesday night.
Calls of the lights came from across town reporting as few as three lights and as many as 50!
The National Weather Service in Midland says the lights are due to light from gas flares refracted by thermal inversion.
