Two people are dead following a fiery accident in Andrews County on Friday morning.

The accident happened at 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway 115 and Loop 1910, just outside of the city of Andrews.

DPS Troopers tell NewsWest 9, a 2015 Dodge Challenger was traveling eastbound on Highway 115.

That's when the vehicle crossed through the intersection, into the southbound barrow ditch and hit the concrete base of a stoplight pole.

That collision caused the vehicle to catch on fire.
