MIDLAND, Texas — Rubicon Oilfield International teamed up with RockHounds for Permian Technology Showcase on May 16.

The all-day event held at Security Bank Ballpark began with a catered lunch by BBQ Pit Master Winner and Midland local, Up In Smoke.

Rubicon's booth outside the ballpark gave attendees the chance to speak with the oil and gas company's key representatives about technology advancements they implement in the Permian Basin.

"The partnership we have with the rockhounds is an awesome opportunity to create something unique for our customers, to come out and learn more about our business. Together, we will not only celebrate the oil and gas industry but also baseball in general," said Jayme Sperring, Western Hemisphere, President.

Before the first pitch, RockHounds and Rubicon joined together to sign autographs and meet guests that wanted to attend Happy Hour.

The first 500 fans to walk in the gates for the game against Corpus Christi Hooks received a Rubicon-RockHounds co-branded t-shirt.

Rubicon’s local family, teenage twin softball players, threw the first pitch.
