ODESSA - NewsWest9 has learned that an Odessa landmark is closing after a fierce fight to stay open.
The Presidential Museum in Odessa is officially closing its doors. Today was the last day the 45-year-old museum was open to the public.
The facility has been struggling to make ends meet for some time and the Board of Trustees decided to close.
The building on East University is full of presidential memorabilia. Museum staff say there are many issues surrounding the museum that have not been resolved and they are currently working on those.
