MIDLAND, Texas — UPDATE: As of 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oncor is reporting that power is restored to all of the impacted area.

Oncor is reporting an outage impacting about 1,400 homes in Midland.
According to the Oncor outage map at 11:20 p.m. Friday, the estimated time of restoration is Saturday at 1 a.m.
At this time there is no word on what caused the outage, but viewers reported seeing a bright flash and a downed power line.
