CLEVELAND — Thin Mints. Samoas. Trefoils.
No matter your girl scout cookie of choice, getting them in Northeast Ohio just got a little harder.
The Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio are cancelling all cookie booths effective immediately over coronavirus concerns.
The decision comes in alignment with Gov. Mike DeWine's ban on mass gatherings of 100 people or more and health experts' suggestion to limit non-essential gatherings of more than 25 people.
The organization says it is taking "proactive" measures to ensure the "best interest" of their troops. Cookie booths will remain cancelled through March 29.
Girl Scout of Northeast Ohio says it is working with current booth locations in hopes of re-scheduling in April. You can, however, order cookies for donation to someone to make their day amid physical isolation by clicking here.
