MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Two Midland boys are on a mission to make a difference in their community.
While other kids are playing video games, they are spending their Spring Break baking goods and writing signs all in an effort to collect funds for a dog in need.
Akin Blade is a dog that was turned into the Andrews Animal Clinic on Friday after he was found with cropped ears covered in blood and in visible pain.
After NewsWest 9 aired a story about Akin, the children wanted to do their part to help.
They will be at the entrance of Green Tree Country Club selling goods on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
