MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Midland Lee High School football head coach, James Morton, has announced that he is leaving Midland ISD.
The announcement was made on Thursday.
According to a press release from the Midland Independent School District, Morton will be heading to Eastland, Texas, to take over the program there.
In the release, Midland ISD Superintendent, Ryder Warren, said Morton will be sorely missed.
Warren also said that they will begin meeting with Lee High School campus leadership, student athletes and the LHS football booster club to find the next head coach for the program.
