ODESSA, Texas — A brief high speed pursuit came to end on Meteor Crater Road in west Odessa. The driver lost control on a turn and the vehicle ended up on its roof.
The driver, identified as Kevin Hernandez, was able to exit the vehicle and fled, but was quickly apprehended.
Hernadnez was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries and is charged with evading arrest or detention. His bond has been set at $25,000 and he is still in custody as of 1:30 p.m. on June 25.
The crash is still being investigated.
