CRANE COUNTY, Texas — Crane County law enforcement has broken ground on its new correctional facility.
The new location is being built off the N.W. track route near the Crane County Airport.
Construction is expected to take around 14 months.
The current correctional facility houses 24 beds, while the new one will house 68.
This new facility will also host training for area law enforcement.
