ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — The Ector Country Coliseum was filled with livestock today as children came out to show their steers.
Many of the children have been raising their steers since they were calves with early mornings and late nights bottle feeding them.
“I have seen his mom before, and we feed him every morning and every night,” Riggin Day, said.
Riggin Day loves living in the country and through programs like 4-H he is learning all about it.
“It’s my first time out in Odessa and I really liked it and I am super excited because we make lots of memories," Day said. "Also its really fun to show steers and showing out in Odessa is really fun too.”
