MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - UPDATE: Midland police tell us a 15-year-old female has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery that occurred at McDonald's on Wednesday afternoon.

We're told the suspect's vehicle was spotted in the 2500 block of Haynes Dr., around 6:20 p.m.

According to authorities, the 15-year-old attempted to run from officers but was shortly apprehended.

Police said the driver of the vehicle was identified as the suspect in the robbery.

The driver's name has not been released.


Midland police are looking for an armed robbery suspect, who robbed a McDonald's, located at 1111 Andrews Highway, on Wednesday afternoon.

We're told the suspect is a white female in her 20's with blonde hair.

According to police, the suspect went through the drive-through, displayed a weapon and demanded money.

Police said the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money in a tan Buick Lucerne.
