MIDLAND, Texas — Over the weekend, Midland Memorial Hospital used their final vile of remdesivir.

It is the only drug so far that has shown some promise as a treatment for severe COVID-19 cases.

CEO Russell Meyers says they are trying to replenish their stock.

Monday, the hospital reported they are treating 18 COVID-19 patients, with just four of them on ventilators.
