ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — Ector County ISD is working to make registration easier for parents of new and returning students.
Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will soon be underway and both new and returning students will be able to do much of the work online.
According to ECISD's website, students who are new to the district will be able to find the appropriate forms online, fill it out at home and bring it to District Wide Registration.
Parents of returning students will be able to complete and submit registration forms online thanks to the txConnect Parent Portal. Parents who use this portal will be able to move much more quickly through district wide registration.
The forms are available now through August 1. To use the portal, parents must create an account with the email on the student's record and add their student to the account.
Parents still need to attend district wide registration days at the appropriate campus. Campuses will have computer labs on site for parents who do not fill these forms out prior to the registration day.
