If you have outstanding fines at the Ector County Library, you can get off the hook by donating food to the West Texas Food Bank.
From now until December 22nd, the Ector County Library will deduct one overdue fine from items already returned for every eight ounce can of food.
Only labeled cans or plastic items will be accepted and it only applies to overdue fines.
No glass or dented containers will be taken.
Be sure you take your library card with you.
