HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — The suspect accused of shooting a man and pointing a gun at "random" motorists, including children, has been arrested, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
EDITOR'S NOTE: The above video originally aired Oct. 11 when deputies were actively searching for the suspect.
The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Patrick Allen. Gonzalez said he has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and felon in possession of a weapon.
The 43-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital in critical, but stable, condition.
According to Gonzalez, Allen was also seen pointing a pistol at random people in the area.
The motive for this incident is unknown at this time and deputies did not say if Allen knew his victim.
