The probation revocation hearing for the man identified as the other suspect in the Greg Kelley child sexual assault case has been reset for July 18, according to KVUE and Austin American-Statesman Reporter Tony Plohetski.

Johnathan McCarty is being held in the Williamson County jail on drug charges and for allegedly violating his probation. His bond is set at $450,000.

Tuesday's hearing was set in front of District Judge Stacey Matthews, but Plohetski said she had a conflict of interest because she was a former prosecutor.

While McCarty has been named as an alternative suspect in the Kelley case being investigated by the Texas Rangers, he has not been charged in the case yet.

In 2014, Kelly was sentenced to 25 years in prison for molesting a 4-year-old boy at a home daycare operated by McCarty's mother. Around the time of the assault, Kelley was living at the McCarty household and was named as the prime suspect.

At Kelley's next hearing, scheduled at the latest for August, his defense team plans to use data from McCarty's phone and computer to show he possessed child pornography images. A witness is also expected to testify that McCarty confessed to the crime at a party, according to Plohetski.
