MIDLAND, Texas —
Students at Bonham Elementary in Midland are learning a lesson about giving.
The students raised $2,402.66 for their "Pennies 4 Pets" service project.
All funds raised were donated to the City of Midland's Animal Services department.
The city posted the Facebook picture above, thanking the kids for their hard work and saying that their donations will go a long way in helping animals in their care.
