MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The City of Midland has received its monthly sales tax revenue from the State Comptroller’s Office.

According to the city, the total amount came out to $4,743,531. This marks an increase of 28.59 percent over last December.

In addition, the year-to-date total revenue increased 29.56 percent, or $3,349,728 for the 2018-2019 fiscal year as compared to last year. The total fiscal year-to-date as of December is $14,679,920.

The sales tax revenue is generated from two months prior, meaning these numbers come from October sales.
