ANDREWS, TX (KWES) - The city of Andrews hosts the Wild Wild West Festival to celebrate Texas diverse heritage and culture.

The weekend event starts at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 19 and 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

Festival admission is free for all who want to partake in authentic fun Texas activities.

Night life scene includes live entertainment at the Ace Arena with performances by Kyle Park, Grupo Pantera, and Los Palominos.

For families and children you can participate in an egg hunt.

Also, you can stop by to exhibit a car show and power wheel races happening on Saturday.

The Festival features Texas home cooked food that just the sight and smell of will have you drooling.

There will be a Texas Shoot Out BBQ Cook-Off and a Chuck Wagon Cook-Off.

Come for the spirit of the Wild Wild West and leave the festival with nostalgia to last a lifetime.
