Job losses continue to mount throughout Texas and throughout the Country, but one local Congressman says he has a recovery package that will invest millions in West Texas roads.

U.S. Congressman Ciro Rodriguez says it's all funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

More than 33 million dollars will be spent on road projects in eight counties.

In Brewster County, nearly five million will go towards resurfacing the roadway on U.S. 67.

In Pecos County, just over two million will repair the roadway near U.S. 385 near Spur 194.

Rodriguez says the plan will create or save thousands of West Texas jobs.
