MIDLAND - A West Texas hospital is going green.

Midland Memorial Hospital is already using non toxic chemicals, paper products, and has a linen conservation policy.

That means the beds only get new sheets when they're dirty or when the family asks instead of every day to save on water and soap.

The green philosophy extends outside the doors too.

The hospital is using drought-tolerant landscaping to conserve West Texas water resources.
