MIDLAND - A small plane made an emergency landing in eastern Midland Friday morning.
The two-seater plane landed in a field off Todd Road around 11:30 Friday morning. The two people inside the plane were not hurt.
The plane is a home-built RV-4. The plane was headed from Provo, Utah to Gainesville, Florida when it experienced oil pressure problems. The aircraft did not appear to be badly damaged.
Crews were preparing to tow the plane out of the field. The plane is being taken to the Midland Air Park.
