MIDLAND - It's time for Americans to keep a close eye on Washington.

That's the advice of Texas Railroad Commssion Chairman, Michael Williams.

Williams was the guest speaker at Wednesday's Midland Republican Women's luncheon.

The former Midlander claims the Obama Administration could make things difficult for the oil industry with its environmental and economic policies.

He also talked about the bank bailouts.

Williams says he's troubled by the current stimulus plan, because it involves borrowing more money to get out of debt.

In December, Williams announced plans to run for the U.S. Senate.
