A Big Spring man is going to prison for the next 5 years after his botched attempt to rob Stanton drug.
24-year-old John Wilkinson plead guilty to the robbery earlier this week.
Last August, he walked into the store with what looked like a gun and demanded drugs.
Once he got the drugs, he tried to get away in his car, but he locked his keys inside.
When Wilkinson refused to give up, police shot and injured him.
