A Midlander accused of taking Molotov Cocktails to the Republican National Convention last year is getting a new trial.

The jury deciding David McKay's case on Monday announced it was deadlocked.

The judge declared a mistrial and released McKay on $25,000 dollar bond, and sent him back to Texas.

McKay's been in jail since September.

He's accused of planning to use bombs to destroy property or injure police during the convention.
