PECOS - It's been a bumpy ride for folks in Pecos, but things are about to change.

Pecos City Council members have allocated $130,000 dollars, over a five year period, for equipment to repair city streets.

Mayor Alligood tells NewsWest 9, it's been a longtime coming.

Right now, they're working on the sewer and water lines.

Then they'll begin filling those potholes.

Crews have already begun work on Business 80 and Eddy Street.

City roads were last repaired in 2005.
