MIDLAND - Midland ISD is set to cash in if President Obama's economic stimulus plan becomes law.

School officials say the district could receive 15-million dollars over the next two years.

The money would be used to replace old computers, improve educational programs for low-income students and create new science labs.

The President's economic stimulus plan now sits at some 825 billion dollars.

The money could not be used to increase salaries for district employees.
