12 New Police Officers Join the Force in Odessa

ODESSA - Twelve new police have officers joined the force in Odessa.

After months of training, the candidates are ready to go.

They'll serve the city as probation officers.

Most of them grew up in the West Texas area and attended our local colleges.

They were sworn in at 4:00 on Friday afternoon in the Odessa City Hall Council Chambers by Chief of Police Timothy Burton.
