ANDREWS - A major phone outage has been repaired in Andrews and Gaines Counties.
NewsWest9 viewers in Andrews and Seminole reported Thursday night that landlines and cell phones were not working.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest9 that a fiber optic cable was cut and they handled some of the emergency calls from those areas. That line has now been fixed.
The outage also affected electronics like ATMs and gas pumps.
