A man who forced a Continental Airlines flight to make an emergency landing in Midland last year will go to prison for 30 months.

Arthur David Proskin was headed from Houston to Palm Springs back in April when he became irate and began screaming at flight attendants and passengers.

The flight diverted to Midland where Proskin was held in federal custody.

After Proskin gets out, he'll serve three years probation.
