City Workers and County Inmates Clean Up after Presidential Visit in Midland

MIDLAND - 30,000 people left behind a pretty big mess after former President Bush's welcome back celebration on Tuesday.

County inmates spent the day cleaning up the trash in Centennial Plaza while city workers dismantled all the equipment.

Tens-of-thousands from all across West Texas and beyond stood shoulder to shoulder in Downtown Midland on Tuesday to see the former President in his first appearance after leaving the White House.
