Uranium Plant Project Decision Delayed Until March

It will be more than a month before Andrews and Lea County find out if they win a major uranium plant project.

That's after the CEO of International Isotopes says state-permit laws are delaying the decision until March.

The company plans to build a 55-million dollar uranium plant in one of three spots.

It would create at least one hundred jobs.

Sites on the short list include Andrews County. Lea County, or in Idaho.
