Game Birds Headed to Animal Sanctuary

ODESSA - 25 game birds that were seized at an Ector County home back in December will be headed to a wildlife sanctuary.

The birds were confiscated back on December 15th at a home in the 9000 block of Hubnick.

Odessa Police says the birds will go to the Wildlife Rescue Sanctuary in Kandalia, Texas. The birds will be taken to the sanctuary where they will have the opportunity to live out their lives in peace.

Police are still investigating the case and trying to find the person who abandoned the birds, many of which were in bad health.
